Dusseldorf, Germany; November 11, 2015 — After decades of discussions about the expansion of rail capacities and variants of potential tracks between Hanover and Hamburg/Bremen in Germany (originally called the “Y-Trasse”), an important goal was achieved in a transparent, fair, open and unbiased process: At the beginning of November, the “Dialogforum Schiene Nord“ clearly argued in favor of the “Alpha-Variante E“. As neutral facilitator, vom Hoff Kommunikation was responsible for the concept, organization and management of the dialogue process and served as a contact person for all parties involved. The team thanks all participants and involved parties for the excellent cooperation and constructive discussions. vom Hoff Kommunikation is happy to have paved the way, together with the participants, for future civic involvement and debate culture during large-scale projects.
“The work of the forum is a historic success and a milestone for future civic involvement during large-scale projects,” says Olaf Lies, Secretary of Commerce of Lower Saxony.
“I believe you have already made a part of history with the things you have done,” comments Dr. Volker Kefer, Vice chairman of Deutsche Bahn AG.
