One of Boston’s Brightest PR and Marketing Agencies Names Industry Veteran as Partner
Boston, Mass. (February 2018) – DPA Communications has expanded its leadership team to include its first partner, Lisa Bell. Bell’s promotion showcases her long-standing commitment to DPA, one of the most respected and growing PR and marketing agencies in Boston.
“Bringing Lisa Bell on board in 2016 is the second-best decision we’ve made next to making her a partner today,” said DPA Communications Founder and Principal, Dominic Amenta. “Having her help to steer the ship further solidifies DPA’s position as one of the region’s most capable PR and marketing agencies, allowing us to attract new clientele and move forward with our plans for expansion and even a west coast office to better serve our clients with a national footprint.”
Bell joined DPA in spring 2016 as executive vice president and quickly became an integral member of the team, managing and working day-to-day on most of the agency’s accounts while also serving as a mentor to staff, Account Executives Zach Galasso and Emma O’Connor. In her role as EVP, and now partner, she will continue to develop strategy and implement PR, social media marketing and influencer relations campaigns for clients in a variety of sectors – from technology and B2B to retail, consumer goods and hospitality – including Sunday River Resort, Haymakers for Hope, Vice Cream, Kane’s Handcrafted Donuts, Adhark, Veterans Legal Services and the Irish Film Festival. Bell will play a key role in not only expanding DPA’s client list, but also its team in 2018.
“After joining DPA, it didn’t take me long to realize that it is a company that one rarely finds – it not only does impressive work for clients, but also enables me to surround myself with colleagues who I admire both professionally and personally,” said Bell. “Dominic and I have known each other for over 12 years. With that inherent trust and knowledge of each other’s areas of expertise on our side, we know that DPA is poised for success and an exciting expansion in 2018.”
Bell has worked in public relations, crisis communications, social media, event management and marketing for 20 years at agencies coast to coast and in various industries. Prior to DPA, she served as VP of Public Relations at 451 Marketing (now Agency 451), overseeing the PR department’s personnel and accounts including large integrated campaigns for The Yankee Candle Company, Bob’s Discount Furniture and HP Hood. Prior to 451, Lisa served as senior vice president at Regan Communications Group for eight years, leading many of the company’s premier accounts like Simon Malls and New Balance. It was at Regan where she met and worked alongside Dominic Amenta. She also worked on technology and business accounts at agencies in New York, NY and began her career at Schwartz-MSL in San Francisco. Bell graduated from Fordham University with a B.A. in Communications, and lives in Nahant, Massachusetts with her husband and two daughters. She serves on the board for the Nahant Education Foundation, a non-profit that raises funds to enrich education, particularly STEAM programs, in the Nahant public school system.
