Most recently, members of the WordWrite team traveled to the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Heritage Region Conference in Richmond, Va. to collect a Silver Quill Award of Merit. The award honored Paul Furiga, Robin Rectenwald and Hollie Geitner for their “YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh’s CPR Plan” in the Issues Management and Crisis Communication category. Silver Quills are awarded to outstanding communications professionals in the 18-state Heritage Region who prove their communication campaign’s efficacy in helping achieve the goals of their organizations, clients or causes.

The agency achieved an honorable mention in the Media Relations category from the PR News’ Healthcare Communications Awards for its MedExpress Media Relations campaign.
